Laura Loves Grads: Amanda
Graduating is always exciting! It’s a celebration of hard work, it’s the finale of one period of your life and the beginning of the next, it’s… the dreaded graduation photo. Okay, some people LOVE the formal, ‘Cap and Gown’ in-studio experience. And many do not. But there’s no way around it – you need it! Or so said my parents when my camera shy self tried to avoid the whole experience in high school and again in university.
Face it, you’ll want the classic portrait for your wall, office, or the shrine your parents have dedicated to you in their living room. Here’s a recent grad- the lovely Amanda. What a beautiful girl! Amanda capped off her graduation week from King’s College with a short shoot at the studio, then vamped it up for a fun, outdoor session on the waterfront. We checked out the old train by Pier 21 which gave our shots a real vintage feel that really suited Amanda’s style. Love the peacock feather. Good luck in Toronto, Amanda!
